It was beautiful afternoon about 2 weeks ago and my girls had their first chance to play in the backyard without their jackets or freezing.  The light coming through my backyard was amazing so I had to take advantage of that moment and take some pics.  My girls no longer respond to my "cheese" or "smile for mama",  they just ignore the crazy lady with the camera and go about their business.  Natalia's expression is priceless.  It really shows how she feels about me taking her picture.  

It has been an amazing year!  We shot a ton of weddings, met some amazing people and loved every minute of it!  As I look back on last year, I have so much to be thankful for.  I welcomed a new member to my family, grew my business and made some great friends.  I'm so excited to see what this next year will bring. 

I also wanted say thanks to all my amazing clients.  I seriously have the best clients in the whole world and am so grateful they have allowed me to be apart of their lives, even if for one day!

We tried out  "funbooth" at the last wedding and it was a lot of fun.  The couple and guests loved it!  So did we...

 

As much as I love doing weddings, sometimes you need a break and relax with the kids and shoot somethings else besides beautiful brides.  Today, my youngest, Olivia, took a bath with her big sister.  It makes me sad to see her getting so big. She turned 9 months this weekend and she is really starting to show her personality.  Throwing fits, crying when she doesn't get her way are all my favorite characteristics my oldest is currently displaying.  Oh, joy!  Well, back to work.

Kristin, my business partner, had her baby yesterday!  He is absolutely beautiful.  I was lucky enough to get some shots of him at the hospital!  Poor kid is going to have his picture taken many, many, many times.  What a handsome boy! Congrats Kristin!

Just bought a new lens and I'm in love. If I could marry this lens, I would.  It's not super fancy but it is fast and awesome. Olivia was my first victim!
